Biography
Anne Denis is a pianist and teacher based in
Portland OR. Originally from Buffalo NY, Anne completed
degrees in Piano Performance from State University of New York
College at Fredonia, the Ohio State University and most
recently has achieved ABD status in the University of
Memphis's doctoral program where she was a graduate teaching
assistant. Anne has completed further piano studies at the
Brevard Music Center, the Heifetz International Music
Institute and Paul Robert's piano summer school in Albignac
France, and she has coached locally with Harold Gray,
Paul Roberts, and Mark Westcott. Anne was the first prize winner
in the Erie Music Teacher's Association scholarship competition
and was a three-time prize winner in the Beethoven Club Young
Artist Competition.
